About This Caster - ES8X2TPDDTBK

Set this 8-inch swivel on the steering corners of a heavy wash-down quiet-area cart that crosses thresholds, steers, and then has to hold, where the tall soft wheel runs grease-free and silent.

The wheel is Pemco's Thermo-Rubber donut tread on a polypropylene core: a soft grey thermoplastic rubber that rolls quiet, leaves no marks, and cushions thresholds and floor seams. The Delrin plain bearing runs maintenance-free with no grease to wash out, the 8-inch wheel bridges thresholds and elevator gaps, and the tread-lock brake presses on the wheel to hold the cart still while the swivel still turns. The 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate bolts to a flat deck.
