About This Caster - ER8X2TPDB

Set this 8-inch rigid on the back corners of a heavy hand-pushed quiet-area cart that crosses thresholds, where the tall soft wheel bridges the bumps quiet and a ball bearing keeps the push light.

The wheel is Pemco's Thermo-Rubber donut tread on a polypropylene core: a soft grey thermoplastic rubber that rolls quiet, leaves no marks, and cushions thresholds and floor seams the load would otherwise feel. The precision ball bearing cuts the push effort so a tall loaded cart moves by hand, the 8-inch diameter clears thresholds and elevator gaps, and the rigid fork holds the line on a 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate.
