About This Caster - ER8X2TPDD

Set this 8-inch rigid on the back corners of a wash-down quiet-area cart that crosses thresholds, where the bearing has to run grease-free and a tall soft wheel bridges the bumps quiet.

The wheel is Pemco's Thermo-Rubber donut tread on a polypropylene core: a soft grey thermoplastic rubber that rolls quiet, leaves no marks, and cushions thresholds and floor seams. The Delrin plain bearing runs maintenance-free and corrosion-proof, with no grease to wash out, so it suits wash-down lines, and the 8-inch diameter clears thresholds and elevator gaps. The rigid fork holds the line on a 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate.
