About This Caster - ET5X2CIR

Set this 5-inch cast iron swivel on a mid-deck high-heat cart corner that must park dead still.

The total lock fixes the cart completely: one pedal stops the wheel rolling and locks the swivel from turning, so a loaded cart holds its spot during loading or a procedure rather than drifting on its swivel. The cast iron wheel holds up from -40 to 600°F for an oven or foundry line, and at 5 inches it carries a high load at a mid deck height. The trade is a hard, noisy wheel that damages a soft floor, so it suits bare concrete. It runs on a roller bearing and bolts on a 4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate.
