About This Caster - ER5X2CIRTBK

Set this 5-inch cast iron rigid on a mid-deck high-heat cart corner that has to hold once parked.

The tread lock brake presses a pad onto the cast iron wheel to stop it rolling, holding a parked cart on a slope from a rigid corner that cannot swing aside. The cast iron wheel holds up from -40 to 600°F for an oven or foundry line, and at 5 inches it clears a threshold at a mid deck height. The trade is a hard, noisy wheel that damages a soft floor, so it suits bare concrete. It runs on a roller bearing and bolts on a 4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate.
