Build this 6-inch wheel into a heavy cart that carries a non-marking load on a finished floor, where a softer-core poly wheel would flex and a bare metal wheel would gouge.

The tread is polyurethane bonded to a cast iron core, and the iron core carries the highest load at this diameter while the silver polyurethane runs non-marking, protects the floor, and will not flat-spot under a parked load, holding from -45 to 180°F. The wide 3-inch tread spreads the load, and the roller bearing carries it through slow, heavy travel.

Ideal applications

• Heavy carts carrying a non-marking load on a finished floor
• Wide 3-inch silver tread spreading the heaviest 6-inch loads
• Roller-bearing slow travel where an aluminum core would flex

For a taller wheel that rolls over bigger seams, the 8 x 3 silver 50HE83-24 clears more.
