Pick the TSW-2 when you want to set the stud length yourself, a tapped 1.875-inch swivel base with a 1/2-13 socket that takes whatever stud your frame depth and adjustment travel call for.

The tapped foot solves the problem a fixed-stud mount creates: if a leg bends a stud or you need more reach than a stock length offers, you back out the threaded rod and run in a new one without scrapping the pad. That makes it the right call on equipment that gets rebuilt or relocated, where studs take abuse the casting never does. The swivel base still tilts to seat flat, so the only variable you control is the rod.
