Choose the TSW-3 for a heavier frame where you still want to supply the stud, a tapped 2.5-inch swivel base threaded for a 5/8-11 rod that you size and replace without touching the pad.

The value of a tapped foot grows with load. Heavy legs bend studs, and on a fixed-stud mount a bent rod condemns the whole casting. Here the 5/8-11 socket lets you run out the damaged rod and run in a fresh one during a normal teardown, which keeps a costly machine on its original leveling pads through several rebuilds. The 2.5-inch base spreads that load on the slab, and the swivel seat keeps the foot flat as it does it.

Ideal applications

• Heavy machine base overhauled on a cycle where studs get renewed
• Frame moved between bays needing a longer rod at the new spot
• Loaded leg that has bent a stud and needs a clean replacement
