Choose this 5-inch Performa rubber swivel with the round tread for a cart that has to spin and change direction in tight quarters, where a round crown turns with less scrub than a flat tread.
The round tread is the detail that sets this apart from the flat-tread 5-inch Performa: a crowned profile contacts the floor on a narrower line, so the caster pivots and changes direction with less effort and scuffing, which matters on a cart that turns constantly in a tight ward or kitchen. The soft Grey rubber keeps it quiet and non-marking, and the ball bearing carries the busy duty. The top plate bolts to a flat frame. It is the easy-turning quiet caster for tight, high-turn routes.
