Use this 4-inch Defender D4 swivel on a sterilization or retort cart that has to steer through steam and high heat, grease-free.
The swivel head guides the cart through tight processing spaces, with a 3.375-inch swivel radius to allow, and the blue hi-temp retort polypropylene wheel is made to ride through autoclave and food-processing retort cycles where heat and steam would soften an elastomer, holding to 250°F and resisting sterile-processing chemicals. The Delrin plain bearing runs grease-free and corrosion-proof, on a stainless steel frame for wash-down service. The wheel is hard with no cushioning and can mark a soft floor. This is the steam-grade steering caster for sterile processing. It serves from -45 to 250°F.
