About This Caster - AR40P1TPR
Set this 4-inch A-Line rigid on the back corners of a light cart, the bolt-on TPR caster whose fixed fork tracks straight while a pair of swivels up front does the steering.
A rigid caster does not turn, so a cart rolls straight and true down an aisle when two of these anchor the rear, and the 2-5/8 x 3-3/4 top plate bolts to a flat deck for a secure mount without a stem. The precision ball bearing keeps the roll easy, and the Pemco TPR rubber on a polypropylene core stays soft and quiet on a finished floor and leaves no marks.
Ideal applications

- Flat decks that take a bolt-on plate, not a stem
- Quiet finished floors paired with front swivels
Skip the TPR wheel if the cart runs heavy or near heat over 180°F; a TPU polyurethane or cast iron E-line caster handles the load and temperature where soft rubber softens.
