About This Caster - AS35T2POD
Put this 3.5-inch swivel under a budget leg-mount cart with a deep threaded boss in a damp area, where a longer stem grabs more thread and the POD tread shrugs off the water.
The Pemco A-Line POD wheel is polyolefin on a polypropylene core, a hard black tread that will not absorb water or rust, so it keeps rolling in damp work a metal-core wheel corrodes in, and it stays low on price. The longer 1/2-13 by 1-1/2 inch threaded stem grabs more thread in a deep boss than the short stem, the taller 3.5-inch wheel clears wet door tracks, and the Delrin plain bearing runs maintenance-free. The tread holds to 180°F, and the ride is firmer than urethane.
