About This Caster - AS50P1POD
Bolt this 5-inch A-Line swivel to a flat frame with a four-bolt plate when the wheel has to take wash-down and chemicals.
The 2-5/8 by 3-3/4-inch top plate is the standard four-bolt mount, the most secure way to hang a caster on a flat deck or angle frame, and this smaller A-Line plate suits a compact cart or shelf. The wheel is tough black polyolefin that ignores water, cleaners, and mild acids, riding on a Delrin bearing that needs no grease and cannot rust. The A-Line is rated to 350 pounds per caster from -45 to 180°F.
Ideal applications
- Flat decks and angle frames taking a four-bolt top plate
- Compact carts and shelves matching the smaller A-Line plate
- Wash-down and chemical lines where polyolefin won't swell
For a non-marking wheel that rolls easier on a finished floor, the TPU top-plate AS50P1TPU swaps in thermo-urethane.
Pairs with: four top-plate A-Line casters, or two plain plus two braked AS50P1PODSB.
