About This Caster - ER4X2PHNBTBK
Set this 4-inch phenolic rigid on the back corners of a hand-pushed cart that rolls an oily floor and then has to hold, where a ball bearing keeps the push light and the brake locks the corner.
The wheel is hard resin-bonded phenolic from Pemco: it carries a heavy load on a small footprint and shrugs off oil, grease, and solvent from -45°F to 250°F. The precision ball bearing cuts the push effort so a loaded cart moves under hand power, and the tread-lock brake presses on the wheel to hold the cart still while staff work out of it. The rigid fork holds the line, and the brown phenolic wheel bolts on through a 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate on a low 4-inch deck.
Ideal applications
- Back corners of hand-pushed oily-floor carts, braked
- Ball bearing for a light push, tread lock to hold
- Hard phenolic wheel resisting oil to 250°F
