About This Caster - ER4X2PODD

Set this 4-inch polypropylene rigid on a compact wash-down cart corner where the bearing has to survive water with no greasing.

The Delrin bearing is the difference: an acetal sleeve that needs no grease and cannot rust, so it keeps turning in a wash-down or food-area bay that would corrode a steel roller or ball bearing, and it runs quiet. The USA-made polypropylene wheel matches it, ignoring water and cleaners, and at 4 inches it keeps the deck low. Being rigid it tracks straight behind the steering corners and bolts on a 4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate, holding from -45 to 180°F.
