About This Caster - ES4X2PODD
Choose this 4-inch swivel for a hard-wheel cart that runs through wash-down or a damp area, where a greased bearing would wash out or corrode.
The Delrin plain bearing needs no lubrication and will not corrode, so it stays smooth where moisture or cleaning chemicals would foul a roller bearing, which makes it the bearing to spec for wash-down lines and clean areas. The wheel is a USA-made polyolefin, a hard black tread that resists moisture and chemicals from -45 to 180°F, and it bolts down through the standard E-line 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate. It runs quiet at a moderate load.
Ideal applications
- Wash-down and damp-area carts where a greased bearing fouls
- Maintenance-free Delrin running with no axle to lubricate
- Hard polyolefin wheels in clean and food-area service
