About This Caster - ER5X2MOP
Set this 5-inch rigid on the back corners of a medium-duty cart that carries a real load down a finished aisle, where the wheel has to hold the line and leave no marks.
The wheel molds a polyurethane tread onto a cast iron core: the iron carries the load where a plastic core would flex under it, and the red poly tread rolls non-marking and quiet on a finished floor. At 5 inches the wheel rolls easier over seams than a 4-inch, the rigid fork keeps the cart tracking straight, and the roller bearing carries the weight. Pemco bolts it through a 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate, and the tread holds to 180°F.

- Back corners of medium-duty carts on a finished aisle
- 5-inch poly-on-iron wheel rolling easier over seams
- Non-marking red tread holding the line under load
Where the load is moderate, the iron core is more wheel than you need; a lighter TUM poly-on-plastic version pushes easier at a lower rating. See the Pemco collection.
