About This Caster - ER6X2MOP

Set this 6-inch rigid on the back corners of a heavy cart that crosses rough floor and carries weight, where a taller wheel rolls over debris and the tread leaves no marks.

The wheel molds a polyurethane tread onto a cast iron core: the iron carries the heavy load without the flex a plastic core shows, and the red poly tread keeps the roll non-marking on a finished floor. At 6 inches the wheel rolls over floor seams and small debris that stop a shorter wheel, the rigid fork holds the cart on a straight line, and the roller bearing carries the weight. The Pemco 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate bolts to a flat deck, and the tread holds to 180°F.

Ideal applications

• Back corners of heavy carts crossing rough floor
• 6-inch wheel rolling over seams and small debris
• Cast iron core under a non-marking red tread

If heat runs past 180°F or oil sits on the floor, the poly tread is wrong; a cast iron or phenolic E-line wheel takes the heat and chemistry. See the Pemco collection.
