About This Caster - ES6X2MOPCAML

Set this 6-inch braked swivel on the front corners of a heavy cart where a long pedal makes the cam brake easy to set on a bigger wheel, and the tall wheel still has to clear debris.

The wheel molds a polyurethane tread onto a cast iron core: the iron carries the heavy load without plastic-core flex, and the red poly tread keeps the roll non-marking. A cam-action foot brake on a 7-inch pedal locks the bigger 6-inch wheel with one easy step, the long pedal doing the work, the wheel rolls over seams and debris, and the swivel turns on a roller bearing. Pemco bolts it through a 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate, and the tread holds to 180°F.
