Set this 6-inch rigid on the back corners of a heavy hand-pushed quiet-area cart that crosses rougher floor and then has to hold, where a ball bearing eases the push and the brake locks the corner.

The wheel is Pemco's Thermo-Rubber donut tread on a polypropylene core: a soft grey thermoplastic rubber that rolls quiet, leaves no marks, and cushions floor seams. The precision ball bearing cuts the push effort so a loaded cart moves by hand, the tall 6-inch wheel rolls over seams and debris, and the tread-lock brake presses on the wheel to hold the cart still. The rigid fork holds the line on a 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate.
