About This Caster - ES6X2TPDTBK
Set this 6-inch swivel on the steering corners of a quiet-area cart that crosses rougher floor and then has to hold, where the tall soft wheel runs silent and the brake locks the wheel.
The wheel is Pemco's Thermo-Rubber donut tread on a polypropylene core: a soft grey thermoplastic rubber that rolls quiet, leaves no marks, and cushions floor seams. The roller bearing carries the weight under the swivel, the tread-lock brake presses on the wheel to hold the cart still while the swivel still turns, and the tall 6-inch wheel rolls over seams and debris. The 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate bolts to a flat deck.
Ideal applications
- Steering corners of quiet-area carts parked on rougher floor
- Roller bearing under a 6-inch swivel, tread lock to hold
- Cushioned tread silent, braked, clearing debris
For corners that only roll, the plain ES6X2TPD drops the brake.
