About This Caster - ET6X2TPD

Set this 6-inch total-lock swivel on the corners of a quiet-area cart that crosses rougher floor and then parks dead-still on a ramp, where a half-lock that creeps would send the cart drifting.

The total lock pins the wheel and the swivel together in one pedal, so the loaded cart cannot roll or pivot around a planted wheel on a slope. The wheel is Pemco's Thermo-Rubber donut tread on a polypropylene core, a soft grey thermoplastic rubber that rolls quiet, leaves no marks, and cushions floor seams. The roller bearing carries the weight, the tall 6-inch wheel rolls over seams and debris between moves, and the 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate bolts to a flat deck.
