Set this 6-inch cast iron swivel on a tall high-heat cart corner that clears thresholds and must park dead still.

The total lock fixes the cart completely: one pedal stops the wheel rolling and locks the swivel from turning, so a loaded cart holds its spot rather than drifting on its swivel. At 6 inches the cast iron wheel clears thresholds a smaller wheel jams on and holds up from -40 to 600°F for an oven or foundry line. The trade is a hard, noisy wheel that damages a soft floor, so it suits bare concrete. It runs on a roller bearing and bolts on a 4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate.
