Choose this 5-inch phenolic wheel when you want the popular 5-by-2 size on a wash-down or clean-area cart and cannot run a greased bearing.

It is the maintenance-free counterpart to the roller-bearing 5-by-2: the same hard phenolic tread that resists shop oils and holds to 180°F, the same threshold-clearing diameter, but a Delrin plain bearing that needs no lubrication and will not corrode. That makes it the one to spec where moisture or fine debris would foul a roller bearing. It gives up some capacity for that freedom, so keep the load moderate.

Ideal applications

• Wash-down carts wanting the common 5-by-2 size, no lube
• Clean and food areas where a greased bearing is a problem
• Moderate loads on a threshold-clearing 5-inch wheel
