Build this 8-inch wheel into a cart that travels long over debris and carries a heavy non-marking load in a narrow rig.

The 8-inch diameter rolls over chips, hose, and floor joints with little effort, holding momentum down a long run, while the narrow 2-inch red tread keeps the rig tighter than a 3-inch wheel. The cast iron core carries a high load and the red polyurethane runs non-marking and protects the floor from -45 to 180°F, and the roller bearing carries the load through slow travel. The tread is chemically bonded to the iron core, so it will not peel off under the heavy point loads that separate a pressed-on tyre.
