Set this 5-inch Empire 170 soft-tread swivel with an FBB face brake on a cart corner that needs a cushioned ride, then parks and holds.

A face brake presses a shoe against the wheel to stop it, holding a loaded cart on its spot. The 80A version uses a softer 80 Shore A polyurethane tread that absorbs shock and runs quieter than the firm green PM, gentler on delicate loads, while carrying up to 1,000 pounds at this size. The butterscotch round polyurethane is non-marking, and the PM build brings kingpinless durability with no central kingpin to loosen. It steers on a precision ball bearing, bolts on a 4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate at a 6-1/2-inch mount height, and holds from -40 to 180°F.
