Set this 5-inch Empire 170 soft-tread swivel with an FBC face brake on a cart corner that maneuvers in tight space, then parks and holds with a cushioned ride.

A face brake presses a shoe against the wheel to stop it, holding a loaded cart on its spot. The FBC brake is the alternate face-brake style with a tighter swivel radius, for a cart that turns in close quarters. The 80A tread is a softer 80 Shore A polyurethane that absorbs shock and runs quieter than the firm green PM, gentler on delicate loads, while carrying up to 1,000 pounds at this size. The butterscotch round polyurethane is non-marking, and the PM build is kingpinless with no central kingpin to loosen. It steers on a precision ball bearing, bolts on a 4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate at a 6-1/2-inch mount height, and holds from -40 to 180°F.
