About This Caster - ER5X2TPRB
Set this 5-inch E-line rigid on the back corners of a tow cart that runs long and straight, the fixed TPR caster whose precision ball bearing keeps the taller rear rolling cool and true over distance.
A rigid caster tracks straight, and the precision ball bearing runs cool and true through a long sustained pull where a plain bore would heat, while the 5-inch diameter rolls the rear over a longer run and a thicker seam than a 4-inch. The 4 by 4-1/2 top plate bolts to a flat deck, and the wider 2-inch Pemco TPR rubber on a polypropylene core stays soft and quiet with no marks.
Ideal applications
- Back corners of long straight tow carts
- Cool true roll over distance on a taller rear
- Thicker seams a 5-inch rear bridges
Skip the TPR wheel if the cart loads near the top of its range or works near heat over 180°F; a TPU polyurethane or cast iron wheel runs it cooler where soft rubber gives.
