About This Caster - ES8X2TPDCAML
Set this 8-inch swivel on the steering corners of a quiet-area cart where a long-pedal cam lock is wanted, and the tall soft wheel still has to bridge thresholds and run silent.
The wheel is Pemco's Thermo-Rubber donut tread on a polypropylene core: a soft grey thermoplastic rubber that rolls quiet, leaves no marks, and cushions thresholds and floor seams. A cam-action foot brake on a 7-inch pedal locks the wheel with one firm step, the long pedal making it easy to set on the tall wheel, and the 8-inch diameter clears thresholds and elevator gaps. The swivel turns on a roller bearing, and the 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate bolts to a flat deck.
