About This Caster - ET8X2TPD

Set this 8-inch total-lock swivel on the corners of a quiet-area cart that crosses thresholds and then parks dead-still, where the tall soft wheel bridges the bumps and any drift once set is a problem.

The total lock pins the wheel and the swivel together in one pedal, so the loaded cart cannot roll or pivot around a planted wheel once it is set. The wheel is Pemco's Thermo-Rubber donut tread on a polypropylene core, a soft grey thermoplastic rubber that rolls quiet, leaves no marks, and cushions thresholds and floor seams. The 8-inch diameter clears thresholds and elevator gaps, the roller bearing carries the weight, and the 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate bolts to a flat deck.
