About This Caster - ER8X2TPD
Set this 8-inch rigid on the back corners of a quiet-area cart that crosses thresholds and elevator gaps, where a tall soft wheel bridges the bumps quiet and leaves no marks.
The wheel is Pemco's Thermo-Rubber donut tread on a polypropylene core: a soft grey thermoplastic rubber that rolls quiet, leaves no marks, and cushions thresholds and floor seams the load would otherwise feel. The 8-inch diameter clears thresholds and elevator gaps that stop a shorter wheel, the rigid fork holds the cart tracking straight, and the roller bearing carries the weight on a 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate. The tread holds to 180°F.
